Bad Storms Last night
If you live in Tennessee I didn't need to tell you that, you were sure to know it.Call this morning at 6:30, "Julie, are you ok? Do you have power?"
"Hey Mom, yeah, I'm fine, are you?"
"Yeah, Last night Jay was awake and he woke me up and said he heard a train and let's get in the closet. There were tornado watches out last night. Did you know there's a tree down on your road and the road is closed and power is out they said?"
"Uh, no, I didn't"
"First thing Jay and I thought was of, was that big tree in the corner of your yard. Guess we are all lucky, 8 People died in west Tennessee."
"Oh Shit! That's awful! I guess I better go outside and look around. I didn't hear anything but lightening last night and was up a lot with Lucy, you know how she hates storms. I had to give her some benadryl and she still was prancing all night. "
"Yeah, I guess so, Well, glad you are alright, Love you"
"Love you too Mom."
How sweet of her, isn't she the best?
That was a bad storm though!
I just saw on Tv the tree and the area they are talking about, it's only five houses up and around a corner up the hill (so I can't see it). I can't believe I didn't loose power. I always loose power. 37,000 in this area of town lost power, and over 150,ooo in the KUB power area.
Boy, am I lucky. Hope you all are ok.
