Arggghhh!!!
I haven't posted in almost two weeks, oh my.I've been a pirate the last two days (see title).
A few days ago I was applying mascara when the dogs barked and I jumped and stabbed myself in the eyeball. It bothered me all day and then I woke up in the night w/ it pouring tears and green gook in the corner so a trip to the dr and a dye test showed that I had cut my cornea so he patched me and told me to lay around w/ my eye closed and not do anything w/ my eyes until it healed up.
Amazingly, the cornea heals so quickly and it's already much better.
It's kind of embarassing when I think about it.
I got a phone call from my friend Johnny who is in rehab. He should be going on a pass today and he is so excited to see how that goes. He can't wait to get out of there and go home. He is doing so amazingly well. He sounds great. He had a few days last week when his sodium level was low that weren't so pleasant, but his rehab is going great. He said he can't wait to go camping and is ready for a trip in October. I told him I already had some plans made for the last weekend. It's been well over a month since his accident and a miracle that he is going to fully recover. I know it seems like forever to him.
I'm looking forward to possibly going to the St. James Art Fair in a few weeks in Louisville ky w/ my Mom, and then the Three T's will be visiting the next weekend, while knoxville has Greekfest and Brewfest.
