Happy Birthday Nannie
Today would have been my grandmother's 92 bday.Last year I posted a really groovy picture and wrote about her. Here is another picture that I posted that some people say 'you favor her in this picture Jules.'
I know I miss her and I think about her all the time. I heard a funny story about her this year that I had not heard before. She was upset w/ her husband b/c he had been on the sauce pretty hard that day and right in front of everyone and while he was in a conversation w/ my cousin, she poured a bucket of ice water on his head. I guess she was over it. After he went into the light, I don't think she ever saw another man - not that I know of anyway. I remember some man coming to the house wanting to see her and she ran him off. She told me she had one man, the love of her life and that was enough and all she could handle and she didn't want anymore men, she was done w/ it. She sure never did seem lonely. I admire that.
