Hey Everyone!I'm at Sande's Place taking care of their groovy cabin while they are in Vegas watching the nuptials of son #2 and enjoying the cool temps of 114 degrees..
I know they are having a great time.
We enjoyed a great evening viewing the mountains after a summer storm, surrounded with clouds around the tops and the glow of the sunset peaking behind and an evening cocktail.. then followed by grilled yellowfin tuna and shrimp with salad and grilled crimson red corn.
We had an interesting early morning when the 'neighbors' coon dogs found something of interest and kept it at bay around the front porch and bayed and bayed. They were very resistant to moving away from the house, but finally after much 'encouragement', they went on their way, only to return several times later, but they didn't stay very long, I suppose only to pick up the 'scent' again.
I would probably be rather aggravated if my neighbors let loose their coon dogs at 4 in the morning every saturday, but I guess sometimes you get used to things.
